Mrs. Farhat Butt

Having completed both her medical and ophthalmic training in Yorkshire, Mrs Butt chose to build her career in the region and remains dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care for local communities. She manages a wide range of retinal and inflammatory eye conditions and has a particular interest in cataract surgery, performing YAG laser treatment, intravitreal injections, intravitreal steroid implants, and providing specialist care for complex uveitis. Her surgical practice is known for its efficiency, precision, and consistently strong results.

Education and training are central to her practice. She actively teaches and mentors Optometrists, nurses, medical students, and trainee doctors, helping to develop the next generation of eye-care professionals.

She has contributed to national ophthalmology meetings and is involved in international research, further strengthening her role in advancing clinical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. She also serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, supporting the rigorous assessment and development of future specialists.
