What a great experience! Very reassuring and I am very grateful for the consultation from Dr Musa he was so helpful in helping me make a decision to proceed to having eye correction surgery. I have the upmost confidence in him and the team at the Eye Doctor Clinic, Huddersfield.
Lozza 747I had implants with Dr Musa ten years ago. It was the best thing I've ever done. They are brilliant. My sight both near and distant was very poor but since the op I've had no glasses no lenses and my sight has been super. It remains really good to this day. Thank you Dr Musa. Brilliant consultations and treatment for glaucoma since.
Kay FitbitI can highly recommend the Eye Doctor Clinic, and I am so pleased I went there. Dr Musa, Gemma and Jess are lovely. They are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. My vision following surgery is great, and not having to wear glasses is fantastic.

What Is the EVO ICL?
EVO ICL stands for Implantable Collamer® Lens. It is a soft, flexible lens placed inside your eye, behind the iris and in front of your natural lens, working with the natural parts of your eye rather than changing them.
Works With Your Eye
Think of it like adding a lens to a camera. The EVO ICL sits behind the iris and in front of your natural lens, which stays exactly where it is.
An Additive Procedure
Unlike laser eye surgery, no corneal tissue is removed. The lens carries built-in UV protection, and once in place nobody can see it and you cannot feel it.
Two Types of Lens
EVO ICL corrects short-sightedness, while the EVO Toric ICL corrects short-sightedness together with astigmatism. Dr Musa recommends the right lens for you.
A Gentler Option Than Laser Eye Surgery
Laser reshapes your cornea. It removes tissue to do it, and that tissue does not grow back. The EVO ICL works the other way round.
Adds, Rather Than Removes
The EVO ICL adds a lens rather than taking anything away, so your cornea stays exactly as it is.
Ideal for Difficult Cases
If you have thin corneas, dry eyes, or a prescription laser cannot reach, that difference is the whole point. You keep sharp vision throughout the day and after dark.
Not a Final Decision
A surgeon can remove the lens if your needs ever change. In a patient survey, 99.4% of people said they would have the EVO ICL procedure again.
Notice Any of These Issues With Your Sight?
A prescription too strong for laser. EVO ICL corrects short-sightedness up to -20.0D.
Thin or irregular corneas. EVO ICL is additive, so no corneal tissue is removed.
Dry, gritty eyes from contact lenses. EVO ICL does not cause or worsen dry eye syndrome.
Poor vision at night. EVO ICL provides clear, sharp vision both during the day and after dark.
Key Benefits of the EVO ICL Procedure
In Harmony With Your Eye
EVO ICL is additive. No corneal tissue is removed and your natural lens stays where it is, so your eye keeps its own structure.
Excellent Night Vision
Sharp, clear vision in the day that carries on into the night, so you can leave your glasses at home and still drive confidently after dark.
No Dry Eye Syndrome
The lens sits inside your eye and never touches the corneal surface, so it does not cause or worsen dry eye syndrome.
Reversible
EVO ICL is designed to stay in place for the long term, but it can still be removed by a surgeon if your needs ever change.
Quick Procedure, Quick Recovery
It only takes 20 to 30 minutes, and most patients are back to daily life within 1 to 2 days.
Proven Worldwide
More than 4,000,000 EVO ICL lenses have been distributed. In a patient survey, 99.4% said they would have the procedure again.
Who Is a Good Candidate for EVO ICL?
The EVO ICL suits a wide range of short-sighted patients. You may be a good candidate if:

People with astigmatism of up to 6.0D.
